Justice Forward. 24/7/365.

25 Years of Access in Action.

For 25 years, Illinois Legal Aid Online (ILAO) has been there - mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays - providing free legal information and tools to millions of Illinois residents. By educating people without lawyers, innovating new products and services, and connecting people to the best available help, ILAO meets people wherever and whenever the need arises.

Justice doesn’t keep office hours.

That’s why ILAO has remained available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — offering free, plain-language guidance, legal forms, connections to help, and trusted support during life’s most critical moments.

From kitchen tables late at night to courthouse hallways in the morning, ILAO has been a steady source of clarity and confidence.
