For the last ten years, I have been proud to serve as Chief Information Officer of Chapman and Cutler, LLP.
What do you like most about being an ILAO Director?
The opportunity to play a small role in simplifying this overly complex thing, a.k.a. the law, for everyone. Also, the ILAO staff and my fellow Board members make me smarter (granted, low bar) with every interaction.
What is something that surprised you while serving on the Board with ILAO?
I can't think of anything that has surprised me, but I am amazed by what ILAO's incredible staff accomplishes through sheer dedication and creativity. It's a credit to each and every one of them.
¿Cuál es su tecnología favorita en este momento?
My measure of great technology is how much "friction" it removes with the least effort. So, the clear winner is technically called "OTP Auto Fill," but for us mortals, it's the thing that puts your 6-digit security code on a button that fills in the proper boxes. It fulfills my life goal: "Don't make me think." Simply brilliant.

Hosting a podcast called "Aging with Dave".
